Miz making his entrance.

He does his usual intro spiel to welcome us to MizTV and calls Money in the Bank the WWE version of the Infinity Stones and says cashing in brought his career to new heights. He talks up the potential for the winners this year before reminding us he’s in a steel cage against Shane McMahon at Money in the Bank and then introducing his guest, our first of four Wild Cards tonight… Roman Reigns!

The Big Dog makes his entrance and takes a seat. Miz asks him what we can expect on Sunday, and Roman says Elias is a lot of things– young, strong, charismatic, very talented, but he hasn’t won any championships, and on Sunday, Reigns is bringing him the big fight. The A-Lister talks up their similarities and pitches the Big Dog on a buddy cop movie, but Roman says they had a good thing but now he sounds like the old Miz, and he’d punch the old Miz in the mouth.

He’s here to hang out with the new Miz, the guy that chases Shane McMahon around the entire arena with a chair. Where’s he at? Does he need a reminder, in the form of video footage of last week? Miz asks if that’s the Miz the crowd wants and says that it’s funny, it took Shane to make him understand why he’s never been on the same page with Roman or the WWE Universe, and it’s about respect.

After thirteen years, he thinks he’s started to earn that respect, but McMahon’s been handed everything with a silver spoon in his mouth. Miz knows he’s not the toughest or the strongest, but he knows how to win, and when he brings a fight, he BRINGS A FIGHT! Shane has attacked his father and run from him at every turn, but on Sunday none of his power and privilege will matter inside of the steel cage.

Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, and McMahon will regret ever putting his hands on his family, and he’ll go down faster than his old man ever did to a Superman Punch!

Enter Shane McMahon.

He says it’s quite flattering that they’re talking about him, but they seem to have forgotten that he’s their boss. Being the boss, he’s also out here to inform them that as of right now, MizTV is over– ELIAS AND BOBBY LASHLEY ATTACK! They lay Miz and the Big Dog out and take their place at Shane’s side, and he announces that they’ll have a tag team match

ROMAN REIGNS & THE MIZ VS ELIAS & BOBBY LASHLEY W/SHANE MCMAHON:

Miz with a Neckbreaker on Elias for a 2 count, Lashley with a Shoulder Block on Roman for a 1 count, Roman with a Samoan Drop for a 2 count, Never-Ending Story then Miz with the Hanging Lariat, Miz with Shoot Kicks to both Elias & Lashley, Buzzsaw Kick to Elias, Lahley counters, Powerbomb blocked, Elias hangs Miz in the rope, Lashley with a Complete Shot for a 2 count, Shane chokes Miz from the floor, Elias into a cover for a 2 count, Elias all the way up top, Walk with Elias then a Meteora from the center of the rope for a 2 count, Lashley with a Vertigo Suplex for a 2 count, Miz hits the Snap DDT, but Lashley cuts him off, Shane pulls Roman off the apron to cause a dq

WINNERS: ROMAN REIGNS & THE MIZ

Shane, Elias & Lashley put the boots to Miz, Roman with a Tope Suicida wipes them all out, Shane tackles Roman and throws him back inside where Reigns double legs him for a beating until his two partners come back in to beat him down. MIZ IS ARMS HIMSELF WITH A CHAIR! Wailing on Lashley and Elias, Roman Superman Punches the both of them and McMahon runs away

Video package for AJ Styles vs. Seth Rollins and commentary shills for the WWE Network after and recapping last week’s segment where Braun Strowman threw Sami Zayn into a dumpster.

Braun is interviewed backstage.

He says the only thing he regrets is that Zayn didn’t get turned into a cube, but that was last week, and tonight’s about the ladder match, and there’s no one that can stop him from winning a second year running. A crew member appears behind him and tells him Shane McMahon would like to see him in his office

Sami Zayn is talking to Shane in his office.

He complains about Braun almost ending his career last week but blames the fans for cheering him when he acts like a monster.

Enter Strowman, asking if Sami’s why he got called to the principal’s office. Zayn says he’s asked the McMahons to make it right, and he wants Braun’s spot in Money in the Bank. Shane says he can’t just give him the spot, but Sami says he’ll fight him for it, and he should even make it a Falls Count Anywhere match. McMahon points out Braun is scheduled against Drew McIntyre, but Zayn says surely he can find something else for Drew.

Shane agrees and makes the match, and Braun tells Sami he’s going to eat him alive

MOJO RAWLEY VS APOLLO CREWS:

Apollo with a leapfrog and looks to tweak his knee, he says he can still go, Mojo with a Chop-Block then finishes Crews with The Concrete Slam for the win

WINNER: MOJO RAWLEY

Backstage, Alexa Bliss is on the phone complaining about her luggage with all of her gear being lost and trying to use her American celebrity to browbeat the poor airline worker into helping her. She hangs up and a subdued Nikki Cross asks if she’s okay. Bliss thanks her for asking and says she could really use someone to talk to, and Nikki says she’s been here four weeks and nobody’s noticed.

Alexa rambles an apology but Cross stops her from leaving and says she can talk to her. A devious look spreads across Bliss’ face and she says she just doesn’t want to be laughed at. Nikki suggests going to the McMahons and looking for a replacement in the match tonight, and Alexa offers Cross the spot in the match. Nikki agrees and Bliss goes off to tell the McMahons

Michael Cole sets up our contract signing and introduces our participants, starting with Lacey Evans, moving onto Charlotte Flair, and finishing, of course, with your double champion, Becky Lynch.

Before Becky signs, Cole asks her if she realizes how grueling defending both titles is going to be Sunday. Lynch pauses to appreciate a “Becky Two Belts!” chant before saying it’s nice to be back in London and says they’re both bigger, stronger, and more athletic than she, so it’s not that she doesn’t know what the beating she’s going to take is like, it’s that she doesn’t care.

When the bright lights hit, Lacey’s going to feel the crippling pressure of backing up everything she’s said and she’s going to ask herself why she ever came looking for the Man in the first place– just ask your twin sister here how hard it is to beat her. Charlotte says Becky never learns. She’s got everything she wanted but she still has to make digs, it’s the same big mouth of hers that got her in trouble in the first place and now she’s in a situation where she can’t win.

Evans says it’s nice to see that she’s not the only one with enough decency to show up to a formal event dressed appropriately, and she tells Becky it’s a contract signing, not a fight in a barn. Lynch tells her she’s never done one of these and that gets the weirdest laugh out of Evans. Becky shifts back to Charlotte and accuses her of not delivering lately, pressure pressure.

So one of these dopes can’t afford to lose her first title match, and the other can’t afford to lose her one millionth, Lynch says, and she signs both contracts. Flair says she got her storybook ending and beat the Baddest Woman on the Planet and that’s still not enough for her? All of this is going to come crashing down and frankly she finds it hilarious.

At Money in the Bank, the only thing Becky will be able to blame is her stubborn pride when she bows down to the Queen, wooo. Charlotte signs, and Lacey gets on the mic, saying the WWE Universe deserve a proper lady as a champion, with all these young women being led astray by Lynch’s classless confusing behavior, and let’s be honest– Becky can continue to pretend to swing around something she doesn’t have, but there’s no way she’s going to take out two real ladies.

Lynch offers her a free shot but Lacey just signs the contract and sits back. Flair tries to egg Evans in to attacking but she says she doesn’t want to dirty her dress, but lo and behold, a brawl breaks out anyway! Lacey gets dumped out of the ring short order but comes back in time to save Charlotte from getting powerbombed! Dis-Arm-Her, Charlotte breaks it up with the big boot and throws Lynch into the corner!

Arranging the table, clubbing forearm, Evans with the assist… DOUBLE POWERBOMB THROUGH THE TABLE! The heels grap the two title belts and hold them up over Becky’s fallen body.

BARON CORBIN VS RICOCHET:

Ricochet with a Barrel Roll Dropkick, Springboard Crossbody for a 2 count, Black Hole Sun countered into a Sunset Flip for a 2 count, Deep Six for a near fall, End of Days countered into a Tilt-a-Whirl DDT for a near fall, 450, Corbin evades, Ricochet lands on his feet, Springboard Avalanche Hurricanrana, Standing Shooting Star Press for a near fall, he charges, but Corbin catches him with The End of Days for the win

WINNER: BARON CORBIN

Corbin introduces a ladder to the ring and gives us a quick reminder of how Money in the Bank works, climbing it until Ricochet wakes up and knocks it over!

We get a recap of Samoa Joe’s interrogation of Rey Mysterio’s son Dominic from last week before going backstage for an interview with Rey.

He says Joe crossed a line by targeting his son, and if he or anyone else has something to say, they can say it to his face, and at Money in the Bank–

Enter Cesaro, who tells Mysterio that he can say whatever HE has to say to Joe’s face, and says that Dominic looks more like Samoa Joe than he does his dad and is he even sure he’s his kid? Rey unloads on him and throws a bit of luggage before springboarding off a bench! Referees flood the locker room to break it up!

AJ Styles is interviewed backstage.

He says people question everything, whether or not he hit Seth Rollins on purpose. It was meant for Baron Corbin, but when you disrespect him, he’ll come after you, and this is supposedly Seth’s show, but he came to WWE with a huge chip on his shoulder that hasn’t gone anywhere. On Sunday, he’s walking in as challenger and walking out the new Universal Champion

NAOMI VS DANA BROOKE VS NATALYA VS NIKKI CROSS:

Dana with a Rollup on Dana for a 2 count, Naomi with a Full Nelson Powerbomb on Dana for a 2 count, Nattie with a Surfboard on Dana, Naomi with a Bulldog then covers Nattie, but Cross breaks it up, Cross with a Backdrop Driver on Nattie, Double Underhook Crossface she calls it The Eye of the Storm, locked in on Naomi, Naomi turns it into a flash pin for a near fall, Rear View to Nattie and one to Cross, she slams Dana on top of Nattie, Split-Legged Moonsault, but Dana breaks the pin, Dana sets up a ladder, Nikki Spears Nattie, Naomi joins the fight as Dana goes to the top of the ladder with a Diving Crossbody to the floor, Nattie sends Dana into the barricade, Nattie by Nature on Naomi, she sends Cross back in, but Nikki connects with The Super Cyclone Neckbreaker on Nattie for the win

WINNER: NIKKI CROSS

Sami Zayn cuts a promo backstage complaining about people on social media saying he can’t win and says we’re just projecting because we never win, but he fights for a cause and Braun Strowman is just a manifestation of our toxic fantasies of being big and strong, but that’s not how life works. And what’s better than being big and being strong? Being right and fighting for what’s right.

So he’s going to find a way to beat Strowman and win Money in the Bank

REY MYSTERIO VS CESARO:

Cesaro with a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker for a 2 count, Mysterio goes for a Sliding Splash to the floor, but Cesaro with a Giant Swing into the barricade, back in the ring for a near fall, Cesaro with a Middle Rope Deadlift Superplex for a near fall, Mysterio counters a Giant Swing and climbs up Cesaro hitting a DDT for a near fall, Rey goes From Dusk Till Dawn, La Magistral for a near fall, 619 countered into a Giant Swing, Rey counters a Tiger Feint Kick of Cesaro’s then hits a Slingshot Yoshi Tonic for a near fall, up top, but Cesaro catches him with Swiss Death for a near fall, he looks for the Gotch-Style Neutralizer, but Rey counters into a Headscissors, 619, up top & hits The Frog Splash for the win

WINNER: REY MYSTERIO

The Revival tell the Usos they took it too far and there’s nothing wrong with a man helping another man shave. If they want to continue being a skid mark on society they can go ahead, but they’re not hard to find and they won’t be embarrassed any further

Firefly Fun House.

Bray Wyatt is nowhere to be found as the camera pans around the room but we eventually see him standing behind Mercy the Buzzard’s table. Rambling Rabbit is seen all taped up. He has a secret, and Abby the Witch tells him it better be good. Mercy has stuff to do, and Bray says it’s almost time to show the world what he’s really been working on and he’s going to need all our help.

He says there’s a lot of darkness in his noggin, but now it’s different, and he’s learned to control it, and he asks if we want to see his secret. He turns his back on the camera and all his puppet pals shudder. Images flash across the screen, a voice speaks in tongues, and when the room comes back Bray is wearing a leather jacket with tails over a pair of Nick Iggy’s tights and a clown mask.

Yowie Wowie, he says.

Seth Rollins is interviewed backstage.

He says this is personal now, and this will be their first match in WWE, but he and AJ Styles wrestled 13 years ago for NWA No Limits Wrestling and that was when his friends and family knew he was for real, that this was his life now. Sunday won’t be about proving anything to them, but about proving to himself and to AJ Styles that this is his industry, his show, that he is the backbone of Monday Night Raw.

All those years ago he did look up to AJ, but when the dust settles, it’s gonna be AJ Styles looking up to him.

BRAUN STROWMAN VS SAMI ZAYN:

They brawl into the top layer of the O2, Braun sends Zayn into a column multiple times for a 2 count, Corbin with vicious trash can assault on Braun, Sami covers for a 2 count, Corbin with a Back Suplex through a merchandise table, Zayn covers for a near fall, Braun sends Corbin into the t-shirt racks, Braun & Zayn fight back to the entrance, Sami heads to the locker room, but Braun gives chase and sends Zayn into a steel grate, McIntyre assaults Braun, DDT on a chair, Sami into a cover for a near fall, Braun sends Drew into a tv monitor then drops an cooler on him as Sami again tries to get away from Braun, Braun throws Zayn back out of the entrance, ladder to the ribs & back then he buries Zayn under a pile of ladders, Corbin & McIntyre are back out, Drew with a ladder to the ribs, Release Double Suplex through a ladder, Claymore Kick, Corbin throws Zayn on top of Braun then McIntyre & Corbin add their weight to Sami for the win

WINNER: SAMI ZAYN

Corbin throws Sami back to Braun and hightails it & Braun Chokeslams Sami through the announce table as the show ends
