Becky Lynch comes out in street clothes & carrying the Women’s MITB case for some reason. She’s a bit weepy and says she’s about to go through a lot of changes and asked the powers that be to raise the stakes on Money in the Bank, and they did. She talks about not knowing if she was good enough to be in WWE when she came here and she gets increasingly weepy. Somewhere along the line she learned that people did care about her and put her on their shoulders to carry her into history.

The fans have stood up for her and had her back, and that’s why it’s the fans, we at home, that deserve to hear this from her first. She has to go away for a while.

Enter Asuka.

Becky tells her that she’s beaten her when nobody else could, and she’s been the best for a long time, and that’s why she’s glad this is happening to her. Last night’s match wasn’t what she thought it was, it wasn’t for an opportunity at the title, it was for so much more. Lynch opens the case and the Raw Women’s Championship is inside of it, and it’s Asuka’s title now. This makes Asuka the second Grand Slam Women’s Champion, the first being Bayley.

Asuka looks on in disbelief before grabbing the title and celebrating with it, dancing atop the announce table. Becky tells her to go be a warrior, because Becky’s gonna go be a MOTHER. They hug together and Lynch leaves the new champ to celebrate

Becky Lynch is backstage for an interview but Rey Mysterio, the Street Profits, Ricochet, Nattie, Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan & R-Truth interrupt to congratulate her

We get footage of Street Profits talking about a two-on-two basketball game they’ve set up against Viking Raiders.

Viking Raiders are then shown scoffing about the idea of being challenged to basketball instead of something cool like sword fighting or people throwing.

Asuka is interviewed backstage about her victory and it quickly turns into a celebration with Kairi Sane dancing around with her

Drew gets on the mic and says he didn’t come to the ring to have a match but there’s a reason he’s always dressed to work. He has a couple of things to say— number one, his match against Seth Rollins last night was a hell of a fight and Seth brought it, but he’s still the champ and you keep setting ‘em up and he’ll knock ‘em down.

The second bit of news he has is that Raw has extended an invitation to a certain SmackDown superstar, who didn’t just accept, but chose him as their opponent. There’s a few things you can guarantee in life— death, taxes, and every single person on planet earth hates this guy. Next week on Raw, it’ll be Drew McIntyre, master of the Claymore, the sexy Scotsman, vs. King Corbin. He says you don’t want to miss it & promises to rip Corbin’s damn head off

MVP is backstage giving Bobby Lashley a pep talk and asking him what he’s doing fighting Humberto Carrillo when fools from SmackDown are coming to fight the WWE Champion and he hasn’t gotten a title shot since 2007. He asks when Lashley is gonna let Lashley out, admitting it’s a rhetorical question but he should think on it.

MVP runs into Lana on his way out, saying he’s not trying to manage anybody, but if Bob is looking for a way out, tell him he’s available to manage him.

Lana throws a fit.

Enter Billie Kay and Peyton Royce, who are still alive and mad that a baby is stealing their thunder.

They take their seats and Alexa asks them how it feels for a baby to steal their thunder, to which they scoff and say everybody’s been a baby, it’s no big deal. He says he feels great, but going into last night’s match he kept hyping himself up by repeating the event’s tagline. He admits he saw his life flash before his eyes when Corbin threw him off the roof, but a miracle happened, and there was a second roof just six feet down. But by the time he realized he could get back in the match, it was too late.

He congratulates Otis and admits his best couldn’t get it done.

Seth Rollins rolls up as talk moves on to their tag match, and he stares in silence. Rey congratulates him on becoming a father and says he’s genuinely happy for him and Becky. Rollins turns and walks away without saying a word

We see AJ Styles chilling backstage and getting ready to watch the Undertaker doc

hayna Baszler is folding towels backstage when an interview rolls up.

She asks how stupid you have to be to get knocked up when you’re the champion and says that 10/10 mothers will try and convince you that pregnancy didn’t ruin their careers, and you’re trying to tell her that Becky Lynch is gonna throw away the longest reign in Raw Women’s Championship history for some parasite?

Nah, the kid’s gonna suck, she says. You know who the father is, right? She rests her case.

We see The Street Profits & Viking Raiders warming up for their basketball game

No surprise the Profits destroy Raiders in the basketball game 74-2

Shayna Baszler is shadowboxing backstage when Natalya rolls up and says she’s gonna teach her a lesson about disrespecting the miracle of motherhood. Baszler asks when Nattie’s gonna have a kid and says she knows as well as anyone that the Hart Dynasty dies with her.

We get some post-game footage from Street Profits’ blowout victory over Viking Raiders. It’s good sportsmanship all around, except Rowe says they let the Profits win. He tells Hanson to show them… and Warbeard shoots a series of perfect half-court baskets before capping it all off with a slam dunk

He talks about Drew McIntyre riding his coattails when they were a faction, and next week he’s gonna prove why he’s king.

Edge returned to Monday Night Raw this week to tell us he’s not quite done after WrestleMania 36, where he got his “pound of flesh” from Randy Orton. WWE promoted a confrontation between the two but that’s not what he came back for.

Of course, that’s what happened anyway.

Orton, too, returned. He faked like he could be the bigger man and say “the better man won” and walk off but instead he said “the better wrestler didn’t win.” That led to a challenge for another match between the two: a straight up singles match at Backlash on June 14.

Orton laid down the challenge but Edge never responded & the show just ends on a will he, won’t he accept cliffhanger
