Randy Orton gets on the mic and says he needs to apologize— he’s not the most sentimental of men, but of late his emotions have become unbalanced. He talks about how it’s fifteen years since Raw came to Winnipeg and he did some research and found out that he encounted a man he’d come to look up to, Edge. The crowd chants for Edge and he says he’s not here tonight but he knows none of us can understand why he did what he did.

But he is truly, truly sorry, from the bottom of his heart.

Enter Kevin Owens.

He talks about how he’s been dealing with delusional people for the last couple months, up to and including the Monday Night Moron, Seth Rollins, but tonight he’s putting that aside because tonight he’s got an issue with Orton. Owens just heard him apologize for what he did to Edge, yes? Well… he doesn’t think Randy means it, so drop the act and just explain why you did it?

Matt Hardy ate two vicious beatdowns for asking, so here’s Kev to ask. Orton tells KO he doesn’t want to go down that road, but Owens insists he does. He says he’s been a fan of WWE his entire life, and he remembers what it felt like to watch Edge retire. He was grinding it out on the indies at that time, and he sat there and watched somebody he looked up to retire and thought about how much it sucked for him and people like him who wanted to share the ring with him.

So at the Royal Rumble, he watched Edge come out and to see the look in his eyes when he got what he loved back, and to know that maybe one day he’d get to step in the ring with him?! But then the next night, Orton took it all away, so Kev is going to ask one more time— why did you do it? Randy asks him if he thought he knows him, and says Edge thought he knew him, too.

KO says the people are tired of seeing them talk, so if Orton doesn’t want to give him answers then he’ll beat it out of him. The Viper asks if he wants a match here tonight and says he’s on, but not right this minute.

Orton leaves.

Angel Garza and Zelina Vega are interviewed backstage.

Vega says the only business they have with Humberto Carrillo is the necessary chore of taking out the trash, because family is very important, but you’re not equally proud of your entire family. Luckily Garza is a man’s man, who realizes he has to put his cousin Humberto where he belongs, and once he does, nothing will stop him from taking the top spot.

Charly thanks Zelina and then Angel swoops in with his ladies’ man gimmick and makes it awkward.

OC are walking backstage and bickering.

AJ Styles screams at the other two to act like the best team in the world and says that miracles could happen at Super Showdown. Like Ricochet beating Brock Lesnar, but if he does, AJ will be right behind him to take the title. They have to plant their flag, he says, and calls Aleister Black out as he walks past, saying he wins a few matches and he thinks he owns the place.

Styles says they have to remind him who they are, and the OC jump him, beating him down in the hallway.

They leave and Aleister pulls himself back up to his feet.

Enter Brock Lesnar, flanked by Paul Heyman as always.

Paul does his usual introduction and talks about how Brock reigns at will and how he rarely deigns to take people to Suplex City, and this makes it special. He goes on and on about his usual “spoilers” and says Lesnar is not only beating Ricochet, but he’s going to make mincemeat out of Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania.

Black is interviewed.

He gives credit for his win to his unbridled rage, and next week that rage will be AJ Styles’ burden, and if you think he’s being too cryptic, he comes out and says it— he and AJ are fighting next week.

A sit-down interview with Drew McIntyre.

He doesn’t care who he fights at WrestleMania, all that matters to him is fighting for the WWE Championship in the main event. He talks about how being dubbed The Chosen One by Vince in his debut, his career got derailed the first time around as clips from his time in 3MB are showed and he got fired, deservedly so. He thought he’d never return, but he was angry and bitter in that time and was fueled by that anger. Eventually things went well enough that he could look in the mirror and realized that he’d be damned if people would remember him as an idiot playing air guitar.

He talks about Triple H being his mentor and about how he needs to fulfill his potential now.

TruthTV begins in earnest.

Truth says he’s been working on his questions all weekend, and Lana calls TruthTV stupid and says they’re not here for that, but rather Lashley has a match against Truth.

Ron admits he knows, but Bob is really, really, really, really… big, and he’d rather ask questions than have to fight him. Like has he seen Sonic the Hedgehog?

One by one all five women sign and Liv Morgan almost picks a fight with Ruby Riott. Last but not least, Asuka puts pen to paper and oh, of course, here comes the Queen of Spades!

She strolls down and signs, eyeballing all five women. Asuka knocks Liv down to get in Baszler’s face and demand she bite her, but Natalya attacks from behind with a double leg into mounted punches and we got a brawl! Shayna puts her hands up and enjoys the chaos. She’s the only one standing tall—
