Seth Rollins, Murphy, and the AOP are in the ring.
Rollins gets on the mic and welcomes us to tonight’s show and talks about how he’s proud to be our Monday Night Messiah. The name has grown on him because he’s realized how hard it is for us to truly speak from our hearts and make difficult decisions. He rants about how the Viking Raiders have cost him opportunities. Forgiveness is a virtue, but his patience is growing very, very thin when it comes to Kevin Owens and his friends.
They’re here to preach a message of unity and progression and they’re not leaving this ring until that message is heard.
Enter Kevin Owens.
Seth says if he wants to be a martyr, great, but he’s already made the sacrifices and if Owens stands alone, he will fall alone. Kev says he sounds and looks stupid but he’s wrong, because he’s not alone.
Enter the Viking Raiders.
KO slaps them and says they seem solid and he’s sick of hearing Rollins talk, so they’re doing this right now! They rush the ring and we got a brawl! SAMOA JOE IS BACK AND CHOKING ROLLINS OUT! AOP RUSH HIM AND BEAT HIM DOWN! Vikings come in and the babyfaces manage to run the heels off! Murphy eats a Stunner!

MVP welcomes us to the VIP Lounge.
His guest tonight is Drew McIntyre, who single-leggedly eliminated Brock Lesnar from the Royal Rumble.
Drew kicks over the velvet rope on his way out and apologizes for it, to which MVP says he doesn’t mind and they go way back and he’s finally seeing McIntyre reach his potential. Drew says that legally he has to point at the sign any time someone says WrestleMania, and he does so before MVP continues. He wants him to focus on the prize and not worry about the naysayers and non-VIP people talking behind his back.
Which is that he’s not ready for WrestleMania, but MVP can help him change that. Drew says he doesn’t have the best memory, but did “we” win the Royal Rumble? MVP admits that they didn’t win it together, but McIntyre needs to focus on his dream and not be distracted by the interviews and headaches and hassles. He needs somebody to worry about that for him… somebody like MVP.
Drew says the difference between him and Lesnar is he doesn’t need an external brain thinking or talking for him, and he sure as hell doesn’t need a business partner kissing his ass like MVP. MVP says Drew knows him, he’s never been an ass-kisser, but he IS an ass-kicker. They share a tense moment and Drew shakes his head and goes to walk away.
MVP grabs his wrist and tells him not to turn his back because he needs him… GLASGOW KISS! 3… 2… 1… CLAYMORE KICK!

Randy Orton makes his entrance.
He gets on the mic and says he knows he still owes us an explanation for what he did to Edge. That hurt him more than it hurt Edge—
Enter Matt Hardy!
He says he wants to know why he did it, just like everybody else does. Right now you’re thinking, “Matt, why do you give a damn about Edge?” Everybody knows the history between them, and a “Lita!” chant goes up to prove this. At one point in time, nobody on earth hated Edge more than he, but before that, they were best friends, the Hardyz and Edge & Christian.
They’d travel the roads and stay in the same hotel room just to save a few bucks, four young passionate driven kids who just wanted to live out their dream. And they damn sure did, revolutionizing the ladder match at No Mercy 1999. They invented the TLC match, and that became so iconic that it’ll be a staple of WWE forever. Those young kids with big dreams, they went to WrestleMania and stole the show on more than one occasion.
But they didn’t do that alone, they did it all together, and that means something. So when he saw that Edge was forced to retire, any hate or disdain was just gone. In so many ways they’re similar, he and Edge, they love performing for the WWE Universe, and he’ll be honest— he couldn’t imagine if all this was taken from him before he was ready.
After Edge retired, and they were cool, he’d often ask “What if?”, and nine years later he made the most miraculous return ever. And you, Randy, you took that away. He’s just got to ask, what in the hell is wrong with you, Randy?
Orton goes for the RKO but Hardy has it scouted! Windmill punches in the corner, the Viper shoves him away… RKO! Randy goes and gets a chair and slides it under Matt’s head, lining up a second… CON-CHAIR-TO!
Randy leaves and we remain explanation-less
Backstage, Ruby Riott is interviewed.
She says that Liv Morgan was her best friend, but best friends know everything about each other and she knows the real Liv. She’s like a puppy dog you have to walk on a leash— she can try to turn into a leader, but Ruby doesn’t buy that and she came back to put her in her place and remind her that Morgan strikes when she says so
ALEISTER BLACK VS AKIRA TOZAWA:
Black with a Pop-Up Knee Strike, then raises Tozawa to his feet for the killshot & dims Tozawa’s lights with Black Mass for the win
WINNER: ALEISTER BLACK
Black says he’s enjoyed sharing these intimate moments with us the past few weeks and he appreciates us all. Everyone tries to escape their paradise one way or the other, and he knows something about rebelling against paradise. He’s starting to feel like a caged animal, so for those who venture out here, know that it’s not him in here with you, it’s you trapped in this metaphoric cage with him.
An ambulance arrives at the arena & Becky Lynch is back
Becky Lynch makes her entrance, neck bandaged and striding to the ring with purpose.
She calls Shayna Baszler out for biting her to get her attention, well, mission accomplished. She doesn’t care who she hangs around with because she’s run through them all, and she doesn’t give a damn about settling anything with her. She’ll break her down week by week, little by little & tells Shayna that Baszler better find her before she finds Shayna
