Mauro Ranallo welcomes us to the show, then Alicia Taylor introduces the champ-champ!

Lee basks in the “Oh, Bask in his Glory” chant, then asks Taylor to introduce him again. The Limitless One says we’ve all been through pain and losses, and he knows it better than anyone. But there’s something special when he stands there in the ring, with those belts. He stands there not just as North American champion, but also NXT champion. He’s celebrated, but now he’s back in reality. He knows there’s a locker room of people who want the same opportunity he managed to earn. He didn’t do this on his own, he’s not a self-made man… there’s no such thing. He has to acknowledge that Tim Brooks (his trainer who died a couple weeks ago) was there for him. The NXT Universe was there for him.

He’s celebrating not just for himself, but for the WWE and NXT Universes. And there’s a man backstage he’s celebrating for… his frenemy Dominik Dijakovic. The champ-champ calls out Dijak for a talk. The supposed Raw call-up congratulates him and says it’s about him, so what does Keith have to say. Lee puts over how important Dijak was to his rise, so he talked to General Manager William Regal and he wants offer the first shot at both his belts to Dijakovic. And he wants to do it tonight!

Dijak hesitates, and Lee tells him to just say “yes”. The crowd chants, so he eventually does
