The Dusty Classic Winners, The BroserWeights make their way out to start the show

And as Matt Riddle promised Pete Dunne in their fallout video last week, he’s found a way for them to take the trophy around with them – a custom golf cart!

Riddle, wearing a tie (and no shoes or socks), talks about how they’ve been celebrating all week. He shouts out the new BroserWeightmobile. Dunne says the last thing he ever thought was that he’d be in a tag team with The Original Bro, but in Portland, they’ll become Tag champs. He starts to wonder about getting the trophy there when Undisputed ERA’s music hits.

Kyle O’Reilly refuses to acknowledge them as a team. They’re Matthew Rid-El and Peter Dune. He doesn’t want to wait until TakeOver, so they won’t… until Roderick Strong runs in and counsels them against it. Bobby Fish says they have bigger fish to fry, which cracks Matt up and gets him to make “How much fish could Bobby Fish fry if Bobby Fish could fry fish” a thing. Pete doesn’t care, because in Portland, they’re gonna smoke reDRagon

Mauro interviews Johnny Gargano and Prince Devitt, who are both elsewhere. Devitt’s been waiting years for this match to prove Johnny’s not the next him. Gargano says he’s not the next Devitt, he’s the only him. The best shot of the promo battle is Johnny saying he wants the NXT Devitt, not the guy who lost to Bobby Lashley for 18 straight weeks on Monday Night Raw. Devitt says Gargano is going to wish that Balor was showing up, but that guy is dead. Gargano is going to take the NXT flag he’s flown in Devitt’s absence and drive it straight through Devitt’s heart. Devitt says he doesn’t have a heart.

Beth reminds us about Tegan & Dakota’s TakeOver street fight, then we see the ERA looking for Ciampa outside. Tommaso finds them first, taking out Fish, O’Reilly & Strong from the back, then brawling into the building with Adam Cole. He smashes the announce table with Cole’s head, then sits on it to pat himself on the back. That allows the other three members of the group to catch up, and the swarm him in the ring. BroserWeights with the save, and security is out to try to break it up. The faces clear the ring, but General Manager William Regal’s had enough! He tells everyone to go get their gear on, this is getting settled tonight. ERA doesn’t wait, and hits the ring to resume the melee. Officials finally seem to get control, but not for long. Charlotte has arrived at the arena

The EST is out first. She says in a little more than a week, she’ll be going to Portland to become champ. But Rhea must have forgot about that because she went to Raw and got in Charlotte’s business. She doesn’t care about any Queen… which of course prompts Flair’s music.

Charlotte makes her way to the ring. She gets a welcome home chant, and says she loves an NXT “Woo”. She puts over how much she thinks of Belair, but says this isn’t about her. Before Flair can get much further, Ripley arrives. She steps to the Queen, and when The EST tries to step between them, Flair puts her hand in her face and Belair flips out while Rhea demands and answer.

Bianca interrupts, and says excuse me, you don’t even go here to Flair. At WrestleMania, it’ll be her vs. Charlotte. Flair laughs and takes a second, then says this is a conversation for champions. The EST starts to flip again, but Rhea stands up for her and tells Charlotte not to come into her house and disrespect them. They have a saying here “We are NXT”. Belair blasts Flair while her attention is on Ripley. They kick her to the corner, the lift her up and slam her down face first.

Their truce doesn’t last long, as they start jawing about Portland right after taking out the Queen. Bianca exits the ring to end the segment
